Thursday 5th July
After our lovely Emirates flight and a couple of wines we arrived in England with a hangover...and half and hour earlier than expected, clearing customs was a joke - have you got anything to declare?, yep (seisha for the seisha pipe we bought in dubidizzle) is that it? yep, ok go on through. Seriously!!! It almost seems you could get away with bringing in some random things, not at all like NZ or Aus.
Elliot headed up to Cambridge a couple of days after our arrival so I was left to my own devices in London, so of course I hit up the op shops, its sweet here they have lots of dvds and super cheap and actually decent movies, me likey.
Also had my first Primark experience (aka Primarnie - it is a cheap clothing/household goods shop) Holy shit it is awesome.
We were lucky enough to be escorted by Emma who met us at the airport to Lizzie's place in Clapham Junction (3 trains/tubes it would have been painful figuring that out there and then).

Hung out with Houghton parentals after a delicious meal at The Red Lion - my first english bangers and mash and dam son it was so delicious - and watched the Wimbledon final - I learnt how tennis works. Ems parents live in Barnes, which is right next to Hammersmith.
