Leeds Castle - Kent

Sunday 9 September

I went along with the Houghton clan out to Kent to see "the loveliest Castle", Leeds Castle.  And wasn't it just sweet.  We drove out there, it was nice to get out of London and be in a car!  Pretty much this castle is stooped in history and was left by the last owner Lady Baillie - a bit of a socialite - in a trust open to the public. If you really want to know more check it out here

A few London outs n abouts

So after Sidmouth, we moved to the other side of London, out East to Bethnal Green and stayed with Lara, Ell's cousin.  Lara was off to Italy for 11 days so we had another room to ourself again.  And then the most amazing thing happend, we went to check out a flat and it was a winner so took it there and then!

We were now to be permanent residents back in Shepherds bush aka she bu!  In a flat, 3 stories high sharing with 10 people. Shock horror I know you say, but so far it has been sweet!

London Festival was just the past weekend, 8 September it was a scorcher!  We got off the tube near big ben, and walked along from waterloo down south along the Thames checking out the stalls and crafts.
