After saying goodbye to the fams, we hit up duty free, and then cruised to our gate on the flat escalators, yeya lazy much. Had a daricious meal on the plane, Elliot was chatting up a storm with his neighbour ( this lovely old chap who was going to England to visit his sister, his wife could not attend because she had to look after the animals - yes that kind of chat). We got through customs sweet as, they just sent us straight through, no scan or nuffink!
The Conte's picked us up in Anna's sweet work ride, a Holden Cruise, luxury much! Got to their apartment - which is mint ( and so clean its delightful - props to you pik!) unloaded our luggage, and had some cheese and crackers with a couple of beverages. We then hopped on a train to downtown and checked out the vivid light festival, as we walked around " The Rocks". Its a cute little area, we had a beer at some pub, with batty Aussies singing Bon-Jovi omg.
On Sunday we went out to Palm beach (we are pretty sure thats where they film Home and Away), there were heaps of markets on so we stopped on the way, bought some delish olvies, some were garlic stuffed - one was not cooked properly and damn there was no way a vampire was coming near me anytime soon!!! The beach was really nice, peachy coloured sand, but pretty chilly so no swimming. We had bevvys at The Arms, this cool place that was similar to the howick club set up, but outdoor area had a mean view of the river. A team effort created a mean lamb roast for dinner
